It’s that magical time of year again! Our annual Christmas Mini Sessions are back for 2026 and are the perfect way to capture festive memories with your little ones!

If you’re looking for Christmas mini sessions in Perth these studio sessions are designed especially for busy families who want beautiful images without the stress of a full length photo shoot.

Christmas minis are a simple, affordable way to create lasting keepsakes you can use for Christmas cards, gifts, or just to treasure. They’re ideal for little ones who may not sit still for long, and the festive studio set makes every frame feel special. Many Perth families return year after year because the experience is relaxed, fun, and the results are always beautiful.

🎁 What to expect on the day:

Each Christmas Mini is a 20minute studio session held at our studio located in Success. That’s plenty of time for beautiful kids portraits plus a few family photos if you’d like them. We keep the atmosphere light and low-pressure so everyone can enjoy the experience. The short time format works especially well for toddlers and young children who have limited patience for longer shoots.

🎀 Perfect for kids (and small group family photos):

These sessions are designed with children in mind - quick, playful, and full of Christmas spirit. Our Christmas backdrop and studio space is intimate, so it works best for smaller immediate family groups (parents with the kids). If you’d like to check whether we can accommodate your family size, please message us before booking.

🧑🏼‍🎄 What to wear:

With clothing I recommend choosing a similar colour scheme for everyone to wear – it doesn’t have to be matching but a similar theme makes a cohesive image. I’d recommend choosing 2-3 colours for your colour palette, and then have variations of those colours, like darker or lighter shades of blue for example. Some people like to start with the one person’s outfit and then pick colours /elements from that to match to the others.

Popular choices are neutral tones (creams, whites, tans), Christmas colours (reds, greens), navy and white or white and denim – but of course you can choose any colours you wish.

Try and stay away from logos, writing or characters printed on clothing as they don’t photograph well – however patterns, layers and textures are fine.

✨ How long is the session?

Each Christmas Mini is 20 minutes

✨ How many images are included?

You will receive 6 High Resolution Digital images included in your package. The photos are delivered via a private password protected online gallery for you to select your images. Extra digital images are available to purchase when viewing your final gallery.

✨ Can we do family photos as well as kids-only shots?

Yes - these sessions are perfect for kids portraits and we can offer family photos for small immediate family groups. If you’d like to check whether we can accommodate your family size, please message us before booking.

✨ What should we wear?

Choose a similar colour palette for everyone (2–3 complementary colours work beautifully). Neutrals, Christmas colours, navy & white, or white & denim are popular. Avoid large logos or printed characters.
