The crisp air, soft golden light, and vibrant autumn colours are on their way, and there’s no more magical place in the Perth Hills to capture them than Raeburn Orchards in Roleystone.
I’m thrilled to announce that my popular Autumn Orchard Mini Sessions for May 2026 are officially open for booking and ALREADY there is only a handful of spots remaining! These Autumn Orchard Minis sell out every year - so get in quick!
These relaxed 20-minute sessions are ideal for busy families who want beautiful, natural photos without the stress of a long photo shoot. Surrounded by rows of glowing persimmon trees in rich shades of orange, red, gold and green, you’ll recieve timeless images full of warmth, connection, and joy.
Why Families Love Raeburn Orchards in Autumn
Located just 35–40 minutes from Perth CBD Raeburn Orchards in Roleystone transforms into a Autumn paradise every May. The persimmon leaves turn spectacular warm tones, creating a soft, storybook backdrop that looks stunning in photos.
It’s the perfect setting for:
Families with young children (who often do best with shorter sessions)
Couples wanting romantic autumn portraits
Paw-rents who want to include their dog (pets are welcome on leash)
Maternity photos to capture your growing baby bump
This year I’m also excited to offer Friday late-afternoon sessions. These are fantastic if you prefer quieter times and that beautiful, soft autumn light while avoiding the busier weekend crowds.
What’s Included in Your Mini Session
A relaxed 20-minute photo shoot at Raeburn Orchards
8 high-resolution, professionally edited digital images
ONLY $300 per session
Important note: Raeburn Orchard charges a $5 entry fee per adult (children under 12 are free). This is paid directly to the orchard on the day of your session. The orchard is open daily 9am–5pm, and no fruit picking is allowed.

What Should We Wear?
Choosing outfits that complement the rich autumn tones makes a big difference to your final images. I always recommend coordinating with 2–3 main colours and adding plenty of textures (think cosy knits, corduroy, and soft layers) for depth and interest.
